Outreach Activities
This page includes meaningful extracurricular activities that I have been involved in during my four years at Clemson University.
Gamma Phi Beta Sorority
I joined Gamma Phi Beta my freshman year of college, and I have been actively involved in the organization since then. I have served as academic assistant and academic chair. In addition, during my junior year, I served as Education Vice President on the executive board, where I oversaw over 20 officers in their roles. I have valued my time in the sorority and feel that it has helped to develop important life skills, such as communication.

Oconee Memorial Hospital Volunteering
I began volunteering at Oconee Memorial Hospital in the emergency department in January 2024, and will continue to volunteer until my graduation in May 2025. In this role, I assist in making sure that patients are the most comfortable possible. I transport the patients to their rooms and perform other tasks as necessary to support the staff working there.
Write for Hope Member
I have been a member of the Write for Hope organization on Clemson's campus since January 2022. Each semester, I serve as a pen pal for local title I elementary school students, and I have the opportunity to go visit them at the end of the semester. In this role, I am able to serve as a mentor for the students, and because of this, it has been a very rewarding experience for me.

Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research
Since January 2024, I have been working in a research laboratory in the Biological Sciences department. I assist with many research projects, including studies on the mercury content present in crocodilian species and the effects of phthalate chemicals on cells. Throughout my time in the lab, I have been exposed to a wide variety of methods and mechanisms of research.
